PPP Stretch Talk: Microplastics
Delve into microplastics with this talk by the Environment Agency and University of Plymouth
This stretch talk uncovers some of the less well known sources of microplastic in our everyday life. It demonstrates how the University of Plymouth are investigating different types and abundance of microplastics at their microplastic research laboratory.
The talk also highlights the importance of working collaboratively and interdisciplinary. For example, social scientists and psychologists working with biologists and chemists, and research scientists working with young people, citizens and policymakers, all working together to help reduce plastic pollution and change our behaviour and relationship with plastic.
