Our end of project conference will take place on Tuesday 14th March in London and online.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Preventing Plastic Pollution from source to sea conference next week to share highlights and results from our three years working with scientists, NGOs and local communities to tackle plastic pollution in England and France.
With plastic waste projected to almost triple by 2060 (OECD Global Plastics Outlook: Policy Scenarios to 2060), the need to reduce, remove, and recycle plastic waste has never been greater.
We will present research and studies to map plastic pollution both in river catchments, results from initiatives and interventions to tackle the legacy of plastic pollution, and share insights into the work engaging local communities to join us in preventing plastic pollution, from source to sea. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Registration for this event is now closed. If you would like to follow the conference online and have not yet registered, please email gwen.mainwaring@the riverstrust.org
