Education: Preventing Plastic Pollution at Big Bang Live

The Environment Agency’s plastics and sustainability team were at the Big Bang Live careers event (three days from June 22 to 24) at Birmingham NEC last month.

This educational event, which was the the first face to face Big Bang event since 2019, was attended by 35,000 young people aged 11 to 14. The team showcased some of the sources of plastic pollution and discussed its impacts on wildlife and water environments.
