Preventing Plastic Pollution, one piece at a time
Discover our missionThis is the legacy website for Preventing Plastic Pollution, an ambitious partnership of 18 organisations from across France and England which sought to understand and reduce the impacts of plastic pollution in the marine and freshwater environment. By looking at the catchment from source to sea, the project identified and targeted hotspots for plastic, embedded behaviour change in local communities and businesses, and implemented effective solutions and alternatives.
This project has now come to an end, and this site should be used for reference only.
Project Guidance
These guidance packs detail the methods and approaches trialed and developed by the partnership and provide useful insights and guidance on how to replicate these approaches.
